Overview

The Instagram Growth Project is an ongoing content experiment focused on building a beginner digital marketing presence from the ground up. Through educational carousels, reels, and branding experiments, this project allows me to test strategy, track performance, and refine content that builds trust and connection.

Goal

The goal of this project is to build a consistent content system while learning how to create beginner-friendly marketing content that is clear, relatable, and engaging. This project also focuses on understanding what types of content drive saves, engagement, and audience connection.

Strategy

I focused on creating structured, beginner-friendly content using a mix of educational carousels and short-form video. Each post is designed to be clear, visually consistent, and easy to understand, with an emphasis on relatability over complexity. Instead of aiming for perfection, I prioritized consistency and clarity to improve faster through real-time feedback.

Execution / Content Examples

This project includes a mix of educational carousel posts and short-form video content designed to simplify digital marketing concepts and make them more approachable for beginners.

Key elements of execution:

  • Educational carousel posts focused on clarity and simplicity

  • Short-form video experiments testing hooks, tone, and relatability

  • Consistent visual branding using a cosmic-inspired design style

  • Messaging centered around beginner struggles and real learning experiences

  • Ongoing content creation to build consistency and momentum

Insights / What I Learned

  • Consistency becomes easier when content has a clear structure

  • Simple, relatable content performs better than overly complex explanations

  • Visual branding helps content feel more intentional and recognizable

  • You don’t need to post daily — you need to keep showing up consistently

  • Testing content publicly leads to faster growth than waiting for perfection
